Michael Sijibomi Ogunnowo is a highly experienced architectural professional with a strong academic foundation and a progressive career in architecture, project management, and urban design. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology Owerri (2017) and also completed a Master of Urban Design Degree in Architecture at the University of Lagos. Further enhancing his project management capabilities, he has also earned an IPMA ICB v4.0 Level C certification in Project Management.
His professional journey, spanning over seven years of post-graduate experience alongside 2years Internship and Industrial Training experience, is primarily anchored at Dox Associates and Avantiline Design Limited. In Avantiline Design Limited, he advanced from Graduate Architect to the leadership role as Managing Partner and Project Director in 2022. In this senior capacity, he led the Projects and Technical Departments, overseeing the entire project lifecycle—from documentation and tendering to construction and post-construction services—for a diverse portfolio across numerous Nigerian states, including Lagos, Ogun, Borno, Kaduna, Kwara, Ondo, and Oyo. His project experience is extensive, encompassing commercial and retail developments, residential and religious buildings, and notable projects such as Marketsquare Suoermarkets, Kilimanjaro Restaurants, Labule Restaurants accross several locations, and recently the Total Energies SS Building in Alapere, Lagos. His responsibilities extend to company administration, policy implementation, quality control, and staff training.
In his previous roles at the same firm as Graduate Architect, Project Architect, and Project Manager, Mr. Ogunnowo was involved in a wide array of projects. His hands-on experience includes work on religious structures like the CSMC Ogba ljinle Ife Branch and College of Theology in Ilepa, various MarketSquare and Kilimanjaro Restaurant outlets nationwide, hospitality projects such as the Lekki Waterside Hotel Remodeling and Mangrove Restaurant, and residential developments like the Krymera Residential Building in Lekki.
Michael Ogunnowo is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and is a Nigerian citizen from Ogun State.
